I've finished modeling all of the walls in the sub-basement (sheet A-1). (Just the walls, no floor, no ceiling, no stairs) It should at least give us a general shape to work from.
If you want to see it/work from it here's a download link.
hmm, I haven't quite dedicated myself to work on just one thing I've been messing around with different floors. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should focus on?
well I have started on the core of building but I was wondering on exactly what we should model. The concrete and bricks with the really small distance in between them? or just all together? and which layers should we have? so that we all have the same ones.
I'm nearing completion of the basement now. Having that base layer makes things easier for me at least.
Jenny, if you were looking for a recommendation, do you want to start working on the offices of the 10th floor? Or the "penthouse/roofplan?" I think that'd be a good idea.
Jennifer, what do you mean by the core of the building? I wonder if we're modeling some of the same things. Can you send me what you've done? garrett.j.ferguson@gmail.com
Alright I'll take care of the tenth floor and the roofplan as for the layers lets stick to the basics, walls, bricks, windows etc. nothing too specific

Oh! Layers!
ReplyDeleteTo start, I've put every floor on its own layer and named it as such. That's the best way to start. Suggestions?
